Snout uses a piglin-inspired face motif on the chest with small helmet accents and long side stripes. It joined Minecraft in Java Edition 1.20 and Bedrock Edition 1.20.0.

Search bridge, treasure, hoglin stable, and generic chests in bastion remnants. Each has a 1 in 12 chance (about 8.3%) to contain one Snout template in Java 1.21 and Bedrock 1.21.0.

How to Duplicate the Snout Armor Trim
Keep a spare before you start smithing. Combine one Snout armor trim smithing template, one Blackstone, and seven diamonds at a crafting table to make two templates.
Place the template in the top-middle slot and the duplication material in the center. Fill the remaining seven slots with diamonds. Applying a trim at a smithing table consumes one template; the pattern changes appearance, not armor protection.
